seems like among other things sammy davis jr enjoyed during his life, satanism was among his interests. good for him, satan can always use a celebrity endorsement. real all about it here.

05/30/08apparently this is what al qaeda has in mind for washington. i hope it doesn’t ever happen, but it seems inevitable that one day that technology will get in the hands of some crazy motherfuckers that don’t like us. click on image to see larger version.

rachael ray-afat
05/28/08i’m no big fan of rachael ray. in fact, i’m not a fan of rachael ray. i’m even less of a fan of dunkin donuts now that they’ve pulled ads of the annoyingly chipper food personality from use because the scarf she is wearing could be said to resemble an arab scarf, known as a keffiyeh and worn by terrorists for god’s sake! never mind that it is NOT a keffiyeh, but it looks like one and what kind of signal is that sending to moms across the country! where’d dunkin donuts get this crazy idea? from the right wing nuts in the blogosphere. idiots like michelle malkin. what a bunch of fanatical losers. fuck them and fuck dunkin donuts. not that i ever eat the crap they serve, but i sure as hell will never as much as consider buying a cup of coffee there in any circumstances. what an IDIOTIC situation.

memorial day
05/26/08while most of us are enjoying our day off, bbq’ing, watching a ball game and celebrating the unofficial start of summer, we should all try to remember the true meaning of today’s holiday; to honor those who lost their lives in battle. it is particularly poignant as these recent years pass, as many of us know a soldier or know the family of a soldier who has died in iraq or afghanistan since the start of those wars. no matter your personal politics, we should all set aside a moment to reflect and honor all the men and women who’ve lost their lives in the theater of war and think of the families who’ve lost their loved ones as well.

welcome to the northern plains of mars
05/26/08nasa’s spacecraft mars phoenix landed safely yesterday on the red planet. after traveling 423 million miles and after the engineers and scientists were on the brinks of heart attacks i’m sure, the phoenix slowed from 13,000 mph to landing in about 15 minutes. pretty remarkable stuff. a big ol’ tip o’ the chu hi to the phoenix team!
