socal devastation

things are really getting scary down in southern california. they’re reporting now that over 1 million people have evacuated their homes due to the fires that rage out of control. a couple of people have now died, over 1,000 homes have been destroyed (with more to go) and again hundreds of thousands are migrating away from the scene. there’s a need for food, clothes, blankets, etc, so if you have anything to spare probably contacting the local red cross chapter in your town is a good place to start on giving something to help the people stuck in that nightmare. what more to say other than best of luck to our friends in southern california. the picture shown is an aerial shot from high in the sky of the fires from nasa. wow.
